What do you do when a
Loved one passes on?

When your loved one passes on, you need to call your Funeral Director who will help you plan and organise the funeral.

Our Funeral Consultants might request a time to meet with you, or you can visit one of our conveniently, strategically situated branches providing easy access to our valued clients.

How To Claim

Step 1 - Report the death

The first thing you need to do is to let us know that your loved one has passed away. This is the hardest step, but we will help you every other step of the way.

Step 2 - Collection of the deceased

Next, we need to come collect your loved one and safely transport them to the parlour to be prepared for the burial.

Step 3 - Consultation with parlour for the burial

You need to talk to your B3 consultant and the parlour about how your loved ones funeral and burial proceedings are going to work.

Step 4 - Documentation needed from family

You are going to need to provide us with the following documentation:

– Certified death certificate

– ID document of the Deceased (must be stamped DECEASED)

– ID document of the claimant

– Removal order-For a disabled child, confirmation of the Disability Grant, copy of the medical application or medical report is required.

Step 5 - Selection of the burial package

We have flexible packages that will suit your budget and ensure your loved one gets the funeral and burial they deserve.

Step 6 - Selection of the burial package

Your loved one needs to be prepared before they can say goodbye to the ones they have left behind.

Step 7 - Transportation of the deceased to home or church

When they are ready and the goodbyes have been said, your loved one needs to be transported to their funeral service – they are the guest of honour.

Step 8 - Transportation to final resting place

Lastly, your loved one needs to be transported to their final resting place.
